Walking with a friend on West Third Street in the Village, I saw a guy standing on the other side of the street talking on a cell phone. "Hey, I think that's Colin Quinn!" I said. Thinking he might be playing somewhere nearby, we walked over to the Comedy Cellar on MacDougal Street, and discovered he was indeed performing there that night. While we were unable to get into the sold out show, I did encounter Mr. Quinn standing on the stairs waiting for the other comics to finish their sets. He graciously signed this autograph for me on one of my cheques.
