In addition to being my piano teacher, Doc is also my friend. He appreciates my eccentricities, and offers me invaluable advice over cigars and his favourite quaff, Château Neuf du Pape. After lesson, I often visit with him and his beloved tortoise, Monty. A little stuffed goat often rests atop the piano lid; I call him Reggie.

Doc has a truly unique style. His sartorial sense is decidedly retro, with a wardrobe comprising exceptional pieces culled from Manhattan's vintage clothing stores. A stunning tattoo of [his own?] design adorns his left arm.
